While wandering around my dad’s property over the holidays we came across these two giant trees that had been uprooted during a recent storm. I felt bad for the trees but was also overcome with a child-like excitement to explore them. Poppy loved playing in the trees with us. It brought back such vivid memories of so many wonder-filled walks in the forest by my cottage as a little girl. It was beautiful.
