Toronto got hit with a huge snow storm last week. Friday night I got a call from my friend Chris asking me to go tobogganing with him and a bunch of my friends. I had just finished showering and was in my p.j.’s on the couch, ready to curl up and watch a movie. Tobogganing on that cold winter night was the last thing on my mind. My friends thought I was saying no because I am a mom now. I can honestly say that it had nothing to do with my decision to remain on my couch. After I politely declined the offer and hung up the phone I sat there feeling sad that I was missing out. In order to make myself feel better I decided that I would get a group together the next DAY and take Poppy tobogganing. Saturday afternoon myself, Kegan, Poppy and Auntie Emm made a quick stop at Honest Ed’s to grab a toboggan and meet up with my sister, her guy and Poppy’s Aunt Blythe. Then we headed over to the hill where we were met by Uncle Holt and the fun began! It was a great day full of amazing wipeouts, a guy with a kayak and a few broken bones for a poor fellow tobogganer. Poppy, on the other hand, was not as impressed with all the excitement as the rest of us were….she didn’t wake up until we were on our way home.
Comments and positivity are always welcomed, however I am currently not accepting complaints or criticisms.
